Be Well

It is October, and October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Panera Bread brings out the Pink Ribbon bagels, and advertising reminds us all of what many would sooner forget. However, I noticed today, someone bought some of my cards over on CafePress. Thank you to all who like my designs enough to plunk down some cash. I wish you or those you love the best. As one of the volunteers at the Montgomery Cancer Center always said, “Be Well.”

Hanging in There

There’s been a flurry of activity over at my CafePress shop, hanging in there, since last week and I think it must have something to do with Elizabeth Edwards. It’s strange since I don’t wear the pink ribbon myself, but I think it does send a message although there are days when I’d like to forget the words breast cancer.

I thank those of you buying CafePress stuff with my designs. I sent a donation yesterday to breastcancer.org as promised.

Maybe one day. Soon. Til then, “Believe.”

English Springer Spaniel Tops at Westminster

As a former owner of an English Springer Spaniel for 13 years and the grandma to a granddog English Springer Spaniel puppy named Monte, I was happy to see that a Springer beat the much-hyped celebrity dog of Bill Cosby’s to become this year’s Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show Best in Show. James is a drop-dead gorgeous Springer. Springers Rule!

Note: the artwork is available on t-shirts and other items at my CafePress shop, Sheila for Kids.
