I Vote

My Republican friend Sarge posted about yesterday's piece, and if you are interested in reading a different perspective, check out what he had to say. Sarge and I are blog friends but he did get my dander up when he called the Democratic Party a "total failure." Yes, Democrats have as they say "issues." But to me, it's like the pot calling the kettle black as far as what the Republicans have been up to the last eight years.

Anyway, I'm off to vote.

Getting back to you, no, we are not delegate heavy here, usually not important. We vote in 2 weeks.(I get cconfused 'cause I just absentee each time.) I already mailed in my vote. Partner and I canceled each other out anyway,LOL. (But we are both Dem--state forced us to chose one or other) I asked Sarge who he IS voting for, you have been upfront. He said he would think about it and post. I see a McCain military man there...can't wait to see. Good Captains go down with the sinking ship.

Bee,
I'd never laugh about going to the dentist. I don't get mad and I love you both. You and Sarge are great!

Diane,
I think this is far from over on the Democratic side at any rate. I'm having fun watching the Republicans too.

Politics and religion are two subjects I rarely discuss - the conversation never ends well - but today, however, I will break my own rule and say this about both:

May God have mercy on all of us, no matter who wins.

If nothing else, it will be an interesting ride.

I got up early to see what had happened, it appears we are no closer to knowing who either candidate will be. I am really excited that my March 28th vote might actually count.

Good morning Miss Sheila, yes I voted several weeks ago, you see in Florida we have early voting. I cast a vote for the one time mayor of NYC, you know the value of that vote.

Sorry about the dander, but at the end of the day we are all Americans, and we are allowed to disagree.

I have no dog in this hunt now, only my hope that America can survive Hillary or McCain. Hell, we survived the peanut farmer, too damn bad he didn't stay on the farm. FYI, I voted for him twice, it is called evolution. I have evolved, your day is coming. Smile.

Diane,
Yes, I felt my vote counted yesterday. It looks like the difference between Hillary and Barack was only 10,000 here in Missouri, which everyone insists on calling the bellwether state.

Joe,
Whichever candidate gets the nomination and the wins the presidency will have his/her hands full. Holy Cow! Who the devil wants to tackle these problems! Oh wait, it has to be a politician with a big ego and they are standing in line.

Marsha,
Your vote really win count. Woo Hoo!

Good Morning, Sarge. Your guy really looked good for a while but his strategy was misguided. Oh well. Yes, we are all Americans and we must remember that and quit bickering so much and pull together.

If I may interject the following into this conversation:

Don't worry, be trashy.
