Hobby Lobby Recalls Christmas Lights

Just a few days ago I wrote about starting to buy some Christmas lights at Hobby Lobby. They had white wiring, and I didn’t buy them after all. Glad I didn’t, because now I won’t have to take them back, risk a fire or get shocked. Here’s the link to Hobby Lobby. Several types of lights are covered in the recall. Thank you HL for E-mailing me about the recall. I hadn’t heard about it elsewhere.

Ah, yes, Hobby Lobby. My mother is a woman possessed in that store.

Your mother and me. I love Hobby Lobby, but nearly everything in there seems to have been made in China.

Sheila, I was trying to use "Other" to post my comment, and I should have typed in "Don" as my user name instead of "redseib". I haven't read my DUMMIE'S BOOK FOR BLOG COMMENTERS.

LOL!

This is what I tried to post before when I goofed it all up:

Sheila, within as little time as a quarter century from now the economy of China is predicted to dwarf that of the USA, with India close behind China. "One Worldism" and the move to a global economy will make the world vastly different for Americans if they are allowed to succeed.

We have our national leaders to thank for a poorer life for our children and grandchildren.

I share your concerns too, Don.

There's been no recall that I know of, but the Sylvania lights from Menards are terrible. We bought four sets of white lights, and half the strand on each doesn't work. I started to try to fix them by finding the bad bulb, but decided that was way too much effort. Since they were just 2.50 a piece, I just put two strands up when it only should have taken one. But, buyer beware.

Thanks, Natalie for the warning about the Sylvania lights. These lights are so cheap that we don't get too upset to find they don't work properly.
